The volunteer Board of Commissioners oversees the CCHA and is responsible for establishing policy and approving CCHA’s annual budget. The Board of Commissioners also hires the Executive Director, who oversees the day-to-day operations of the Housing Authority and implements policies and programs established by the Board. CCHA Board Commissioners are appointed by the elected County Commissioners. Commission appointments are for 2, 3 and 4 years terms. Applications are available on the Clatsop County web-site.

Regular CCHA Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month and begin at 5:45pm. The annual meeting is held the second Tuesday in February.
Meetings are held in the community room of the Owens Adair apartments, located at 1508 Exchange Street in Astoria, Oregon. Entrance to the community room is located on 15th Street.
The public is always welcome to attend.
